Voice AI was priced for San Francisco. We priced it for India.
Aitelz exists because the math of imported voice AI never worked here. At Rs 15 to 20 a minute, an AI receptionist costs more than the human it was supposed to help. We rebuilt the stack until the same call costs about Rs 2.
The problem we kept hitting
Every Indian business we worked with wanted the same thing: a phone line that answers every call, speaks the way their customers speak, and does not need a night shift. The technology existed. The pricing did not. ElevenLabs plus Twilio plus a GPT class model produces a beautiful demo and an invoice, in dollars, that kills the project by month two.
What we did about it
We rebuilt every layer of the call for Indian economics. Rumik silk TTS delivers the voice at about a twentieth of ElevenLabs' cost without sounding like it. Deepgram handles the ears, including the Hinglish that real callers speak. Groq running Llama 3.3 powers the brain fast enough for sub 2 second responses with barge-in. And the phone lines are real Indian DIDs through Vobiz and VoiceLink, not international routing.
Then we made two decisions that matter as much as the price. The platform is self hosted, so your call data, recordings and transcripts live on infrastructure you control. And it is provider agnostic, every layer is a swappable adapter, so the day a better or cheaper vendor appears, switching is a setting rather than a rewrite.
Who it is for
Clinics that miss patient calls after 8pm. Real estate teams losing leads to slow callbacks. Agencies that want to resell voice agents to every client from one multi tenant console. Support teams drowning in the same ten questions. The use cases differ, the economics are the same: about Rs 2 a minute, billed in rupees, with everything included.
Where we are headed
